The web community started flirting on twitter on a big scale, the twitter become a gigantic flirtatious chat room. A lot of twitter user have a crush on someone that they follow on twitter, they send tweets (short messages) using the @username function or checking their tweets.
@rejects twittered: "What's a #twittercrush? Is it finally time for me to admit how much I adore @bethatasitmay? I think so.."
and
@SpiritualNurse twittered: "#twittercrush is that kind of like how I gently stalk @Deepak_Chopra on the daily? Or how I always read @lovepeaceunity? those R my 2 .."
